You must optimize your website for Google.

Myth 2
Do not buy links because they’re pretty awful and can get you banned.
Unless you’re paying to spam then surely you’ll be banished forever, but seriously paid links is not entirely bad. There are probably paid links that might sink you deeper in the mire but it doesn’t mean you’ll get banned for being demoted in the rankings.


Myth 3
Keyword stuffing is bad for your site.
We’ve heard about this paranoia so many times it’s like a taboo to mention obvious words over and over again. Let’s say you’re writing a 700 word article about how to eat a burger without having to mention the word “eat” and “burger” not more than three times. You can’t just substitute any synonym to every word “eat” and the word “burger” with ground chuck or ground sirloin all the time. Excessive keyword stuffing is obviously bad as much as being obsessed of capping every keyword or phrase to a certain number of times. Search engines today like Google, Yahoo and Bing have adjusted their algorithms to determine which is “keyword stuffing” and judge each keyword differently.


Myth 4
Content is everything.
